Jonathan Ramirez Garcia

Born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Jonathan Ramirez Garcia migrated to the United States at the age of eleven. Growing up in Southern California, he was immersed in the vibrant cultural "melting pot" of Los Angeles, where he was exposed to a wide variety of musical styles that deeply influenced his artistic identiy.

Jonathan's passion for music began in his early teens when he joined the choir at Good Samaritan Evangelical Church. There, he encountered Gospel music for the first time a transformative experience that sparked his lifelong dedication to music.

His career took a significant turn when life led him to Prague, Czech Republic. At that time, acclaimed artist Yvone Sanchez was beginning work on her award winning album "My Garden" (Warner Music, 2008). Jonathan contributed as a vocalist, guitarist, and co-writer, ultimately earning credit as Executive Producer.

Over the years, Jonathan collaborated with numerous respected musicians, including Ondrej Pivec and Robert Balzar, among others. He later founded his own band, SKEPTIMISITC, where he composed original material and performed extensively across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Poland. To date, Jonathan has performed in over 300 live concerts, sharing his passion for music with audiences througout Europe.

In addition to his career as a performing artist, Jonahtan is a certified sound engineer, having completed his training at Hofa-College in Germany. His technical expertise in sound engineering enhances his artistic work, giving him deeper control over his creative process and production quality.

Jonathan has also shared his knowledge and expreience as a voice instructor in jazz workshops and festivals, continuing to inspire and guide new generations of musicians. His journey reflects a lifelong devotion to music, bridging cultures, styles, and disciplines with authenticity and passion.
